One of the oldest medieval Croatian fortified cities in north of Croatia is Garic City, in the middle of Moslavacka hill, and was founded by Stjepan Subic in 1256. In 1295 order of Paulines made a monaster. In 1544 forces of Ottoman Empire took the City and ruined it with monastery and small church. Since then, ruines are preserved and became favorite excursion site.
