The main square in Zagreb is placed below old city, Gradec and Kaptol. Most buildings around are dated from 19th century. It is the center of Zagreb’s social life and the most popular meeting point is „under the clock“ on the west side of square.
The main statue present Ban Jelacic, fighter against Austria and Hungary in 19th century. The other significant sight is Mandusevc Fountaine that was built above natural spring.
Around Jelacic Square there are many sights worth of visit.
