Tempelhof Park (Tempelhofer Feld) is one of the world’s largest inner-city parks. An Berlin area without any motorised traffic, it offers plenty of space for family outings, recreation and summer barbecues. Berliners love to skate and ride their bikes on the concrete runways, sit in the grass chatting with friends and take their dog for a walk.
Tempelhof was one of Europe’s three iconic pre-World War II airports and in 2008 has subsequently been used as a recreational space.
