Made for cyclists and hikers: Bikademy at Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Utrecht
We were part of Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Utrecht, the biggest fair for cyclists and hikers in Netherlands.
Some feel inspired by buying gadgets, food or clothes. We get inspired in the outdoors section of the store.
Or, in this case, a fair.
This weekend we were among 26 thousand other outdoor enthusiasts and professionals at the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Utrecht – the largest Dutch fair for cycling and hiking.
Not only did we see amazing bikes, e-bikes, cycling and hiking equipment, but we also got inspiration for our next active vacation from various tourism boards, travel agencies and projects.
We were happy to meet some of them, exchange ideas, good practice examples and more. Also, it was also great to represent Slavonia, the continental region of Croatia where Bikademy began.
Oh, and Utrecht!
It’s obvious why over 100 thousand people cycle its streets each day. The infrastructure is impeccable, the cycling culture is on the highest level and the city is truly made for humans.
Many cities could take inspiration from Utrecht in creating healthier and healthier cities where the community lives with full lungs.
