Bikademy presented Exhibition “Good City” in Osijek

Bikademy presented Embassy of Denmark exhibition “Good City – Visions for a city on the move” in Osijek – in cooperation with CroCulTour and Faculty of Civil Engineering in Osijek.

This exhibition speaks about development and affirmation of cycling infrastructure in Copenhagen and about cycling as urban culture, that Denmark is well known about.

After opening statement of Jesenka Ricl, President of CroCulTour, we presented Bikademy as innovative example of synergy of cycling and culture. Also, as great promotional tool of the cultural heritage certain destination.

Beside Bikademy, we presented several activities by which we promote culture in a bit different way.

After Bikademy, prof.dr.sc. Sanja Dimter and doc.dr.sc Dina Stober held great lecture –  Planning, designing and development cycling traffic in urban centers. They showed the best practice in the World, but of Croatia in field of urban planning. Also, we met cycling infrastructure legislative.

Exhibition is still opened on Faculty of civil engineering in Osijek.

We hope that in several years we could talk about numerous examples of urban centers like Copenhagen.
