Conferencing and networking in the cycling industry is at full speed! After the Velo-city conference in June, we participated at the Eurobike – one of the biggest cycling trade shows in the world. For the first time, the show was held in Frankfurt – an incredible commerce, culture, travel and transportation hub.
It truly is a dream show for everyone in love with bikes and cycling! We saw various cycling brands, both the small manufacturers and big, popular brands. Innovations and new technologies were on display, as well as hand-made bikes, accessories and so much more!
The fair hosted many educational and inspiring panels, workshops and lectures. We enjoyed the rendezvous of cycling tourism at the 21st edition of Travel Talk. It’s where international travel and tourism stakeholders meet with the bicycle industry representatives to create a synergy between the two. Many journalists and bloggers participate as well and add to the dialogue of booming cycling tourism that can be the main key for regional development.
During a Digital Services and Offerings session, we presented Bikademy and ceased the opportunity to exchange ideas with professionals like Jill Warren (CEO ECF), Reto Aeschbacher (Scott Sports), Ulrich Gries (Velocollect) and Maximilian Seidl (Komoot). We came to the conclusion that digital services can boost cycling tourism and urban mobility, and help destinations to attract new visitors and travelers!
It was a great feeling to present Bikademy at such a big event and to be among the biggest professionals in the cycling industry. Looking forward to next year!
