Cycling to official visit with red carpet by Netherlands PM Mark Rutte.

Netherland is bike and cycling country, it’s well known. It’s considered that Holland has more bikes than inhabitants (over 17 millions).

Still, the picture that went around the globe surprises, Netherlands PM Mark Rutte visits the King of Netherland by bicycle, although it’s official visit with red carpet waiting for him in front of Kings Palace.

Mark Rutte leads Netherland since 2010, and with this gesture he showed that he prefers bikes over a bulletproof cars, even in official visits.
