Bikademy Launches ESG Tools for Municipalities and Companies

Born out of the EIT Urban Mobility Expansion Call, Bikademy’s new B2B and B2G features: Residents’ Clash and Employees’ Clash, are set to transform how cities and organizations approach environmental, social, and governance goals.

An ESG Engaging Platform That Moves People

Bikademy has always encouraged exploration and everyday cycling through its mobile app. Now, with our new ESG engaging platform, we go a step further, helping cities and companies inspire action while tracking and reporting real impact.

Residents’ Clash motivates local communities to cycle more by offering monthly challenges within four cycling distance categories. Participants can win monthly rewards, while municipalities gain insights into CO₂ savings and community engagement.
Employees’ Clash turns sustainable commuting into a rewarding team effort. Colleagues compete across four categories, earn rewards, and contribute to corporate ESG goals by embracing healthier, eco-friendly habits.

These ESG tools measure:

Daily distance cycled
Number of rides
CO₂ saved compared to car use

Organizations and local authorities also receive access to dashboards, scoreboards, and engagement metrics, making ESG reporting straightforward and impactful.

Why Four Cycling Categories?

One size doesn’t fit all, and neither does one biking distance. That’s why both Residents’ Clash and Employees’ Clash include four categories:

0–10 km/day: Commuter
10–20 km/day: Recreationist
20–60 km/day: Enthusiast
60+ km/day: Athlete

This structure ensures inclusivity by engaging all types of cyclists, from daily commuters to active hobbyists, making Bikademy a truly ESG engaging platform for everyone.

Pilots Starting in Brodsko-posavska County, Križevci, and Solvership

After months of development supported by EIT Urban Mobility, our first implementations are rolling out from 1st of June to 31st of October:

Brodsko-posavska County and the City of Križevci will use Residents’ Clash to activate community cycling and sustainable behavior.
Solvership, an innovation-forward company, will pilot Employees’ Clash to enhance team spirit and ESG performance through internal cycling competitions.

These pilots will validate the effectiveness of our ESG tools and demonstrate how easily they can be adapted and scaled across the world.
