Fantastic bike parking in Tokyo

Croatia isn’t on Amsterdam, Copenhagen and other regions level, regarding cycling infrastructure. But, those cities has problems tht are dealing with.

Space for bicycles is nightmare in some areas. Also, the thiefs can be problem.

Some other cities, like Tokyo, with all the traffic, has the small space for bikes, but they figured the solution – underground bike garage that can store hundreds of bikes.

Instead of putting the ramp, like car garages, bike is put into the cabin which has the elevator mechanism and store the bike on its place underground. The machine remembers Your bike by the code which You enter when getting the bike. This Eco garage is made by Giken Ltd, and the daily parking price is around 0,5 EUR.
